Intelligent Automation Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Intelligent Automation Architect to design, govern, and evolve enterprise automation solutions. The role works closely with sales, presales, delivery, and client stakeholders to shape opportunities, define architecture, and guide technical direction across a broad technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Presales teams to identify and adapt existing automation solutions for client needs.
• Design fit‑for‑purpose automation solutions based on blueprints, reference architectures, and business use cases.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and solution walkthroughs with clients.
• Create, document, and maintain target‑state technical architecture ensuring scalability, security, and supportability.
• Own and maintain the automation use‑case backlog and library, prioritising opportunities using data analytics and operational insights.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation approaches across RPA, Ansible, scripting, orchestration, and ServiceNow integrations.
• Develop, manage, and maintain AI‑enabled assets used within service delivery platforms.
• Harvest custom solutions, standardise them into repeatable patterns, and enable reuse across clients.
• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and testers, providing technical direction and quality oversight.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, and service teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Promote reuse, standardisation, and governance to accelerate time‑to‑value.
• Continuously review solution performance and refine architecture patterns.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise automation solutions in complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of automation architecture principles, integration patterns, and solution governance.
• Hands‑on knowledge of automation technologies such as RPA platforms, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
