In-Home Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join Dovida as In‑Home Caregivers in Mission Bay, Auckland. You will provide personal support and companionship to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Prepare simple meals, encourage healthy eating, and support medication reminders.
• Provide emotional support and engage clients in social or recreational activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in the client’s home.
• Communicate any changes in client condition to the care team promptly.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in helping elderly or vulnerable individuals.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours.
• Good communication skills and a respectful attitude.
• Ability to follow training and care guidelines.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving techniques taught during provided training.
