Identity & Access Management Engineer/Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management Engineer/Consultant to join a leading New Zealand enterprise on a 6‑month contract. You will work within a high‑performing Identity & Integrations team, supporting and enhancing the organisation’s critical identity infrastructure for thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, optimise and secure enterprise identity platforms, focusing on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Manage large‑scale AD environments, including domain controllers, DNS and AD architecture.
• Implement and maintain identity governance, access control and security best practices.
• Support ongoing operation, upgrades and enhancements of identity services.
• Contribute to security, risk and compliance initiatives and ensure solutions align with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering Active Directory and supporting Microsoft Entra ID.
• Proven background in Identity & Access Management within large enterprises.
• Understanding of domain controllers, AD architecture, DNS and security frameworks.
• Current residence in New Zealand with valid work rights.
