About the role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our Christchurch workshop. The role involves maintaining a wide range of heavy diesel vehicles, including utes, trucks, trailers and buses, on a full‑time, on‑site basis.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex maintenance on heavy diesel trucks and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Service utes, trailers and buses as part of the workshop’s diverse fleet.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy vehicles.
- Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a workshop environment.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship and supporting a collaborative team.
