Head of Performance & Insight

About the role

Mitre 10 is seeking a strategic, commercially‑focused Head of Performance & Insight to lead a critical enterprise capability. Reporting to the Chief Financial & Performance Officer, you will provide a unified view of financial, operational and commercial metrics, turning data into actionable insights that drive better decisions and stronger ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise performance framework, linking financial, operational and commercial outcomes.
• Design and implement integrated performance systems that translate strategy into measurable results.
• Deliver enterprise‑wide insights to identify opportunities, risks and performance drivers.
• Establish leading indicators and early‑warning signals for proactive decision‑making.
• Oversee business case governance, investment evaluation and capital allocation processes.
• Validate investment opportunities and ensure resources target high‑value initiatives.
• Track value realisation across projects, programmes and partnerships.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Build and manage a high‑performing analytics and performance team.

Required profile

• Leadership experience in commercial finance, business analytics, strategy or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of financial, operational and commercial performance drivers.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Passion for data‑led decision‑making and delivering business impact.
