Head of Finance (Community Housing)

About the role
The Head of Finance will lead all financial functions for CORT Community Housing and its subsidiary ACCORT. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this senior position is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and compliance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage cashflow, treasury, audit, payroll, tax, and internal control processes.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to the Board and Finance & Risk Committee.
- Support development finance, banking facilities, project loans, covenants and funding claims.
- Lead and develop the Assistant Accountant and strengthen the finance team’s capability.
Required profile
- Senior finance professional with strong commercial judgement.
- Hands‑on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and compliance.
- Experience in treasury, debt facilities, banking covenants or asset‑intensive environments.
- Relevant accounting or finance qualification; Chartered Accountant status preferred.
- Confident presenter to Board or governance committees.
