About the role
VentureFruit Global (VGL) is entering a period of rapid growth and transformation. As Head of Finance & Commercial you will sit at the centre of strategic decision‑making, investment governance and commercial leadership, reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the T&G Global CFO.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the GM to drive strategic and commercial outcomes across the portfolio.
- Lead commercial evaluation of acquisitions, investments and growth opportunities.
- Provide financial leadership for VGL’s businesses, joint ventures and investments.
- Support Board and governance forums with insightful commercial analysis and recommendations.
- Drive performance improvement, financial discipline and scalable operating frameworks.
- Develop a standalone finance capability to support future growth.
- Help shape and execute VGL’s long‑term strategy.
Required profile
- Significant senior finance leadership experience in a complex business environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Proven ability to influence executive teams, Boards and key stakeholders.
- Experience balancing long‑term strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Track record of leading teams and building capability.
- Growth mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Experience with investments, acquisitions and joint ventures.
