Guidewire Developer

About the role
IAG is looking for a Guidewire Developer to join its BAU Production Support team in New Zealand. You will be responsible for keeping the Guidewire suite stable and performant while delivering enhancements that meet business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure reliable operation of Guidewire applications through proactive monitoring, incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain and enhance Guidewire configurations, including business rules, integrations, APIs and environment settings, and drive automation to reduce manual effort.
- Investigate and resolve defects across production and non‑production environments, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, system owners and delivery teams to refine requirements and provide technical guidance.
Required profile
- Proven experience supporting Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter) in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of application support processes, incident management and root‑cause analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with Guidewire configuration (business rules, product model, integrations, APIs).
- Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile and continuous delivery practices.
- Ability to analyse complex issues, troubleshoot effectively and drive sustainable solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills and experience with automation or process‑improvement initiatives.
