GTM and Commercial Manager

About the role

Datacom is seeking a GTM & Commercial Manager to join its SaaS Growth & Revenue team. Based in Auckland, you will work at the intersection of strategy, execution and commercial insight, helping shape how Datacom’s SaaS products – especially Datapay and Datascape – are taken to market and grown sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Execute initiatives that support Datacom’s SaaS go‑to‑market journey across Datapay and Datascape.
• Provide commercial and GTM analysis to inform strategy and shape execution plans that meet or exceed business goals.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, sales, marketing and operations to deliver strategic and operational initiatives.
• Support financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting for short‑ and long‑term horizons.
• Help build disciplined, repeatable GTM approaches that improve execution, visibility and decision‑making.
• Promote a principle‑driven health and safety culture in line with Datacom policy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software or SaaS sales, GTM execution, or commercial strategy roles.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate growth initiatives into business outcomes.
• Excellent analytical capability and the ability to turn GTM data into clear, fact‑based recommendations.
• Proven program management and execution skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational abilities.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (nice to have).
• Experience identifying improvement opportunities and driving operational efficiency (nice to have).
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with adaptability, sound judgement and attention to detail (nice to have).
