General Practitioner – Telehealth (Remote)

About the role

We are expanding our virtual team and are seeking experienced General Practitioners (GP) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) to deliver telehealth consultations. This contractor position offers regular weekly shifts, allowing you to work from anywhere in New Zealand or overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide video and telephone consultations to patients across a broad demographic.
• Follow robust clinical protocols and escalation pathways for safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of each virtual encounter.
• Collaborate with the virtual team to ensure consistent, equitable healthcare delivery.

Required profile

• Current FRNZCGP registration, or participation in GPEP‑3, or qualified NP in primary care.
• Strong clinical and service skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand (NZ residency or valid work permit).

Required skills

• Indici platform (training provided if needed).
