Game Developer Java/libGDX – Remote

About the role
We are looking for a remote Game Developer proficient in Java and the libGDX framework to create and maintain simple 2D game features. You will work closely with AI specialists to design engaging interactions that generate high‑quality training data for next‑generation AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise 2D game components using Java and libGDX.
- Collaborate with AI experts to design game interactions that collect valuable training data.
- Implement core mechanics such as sprite handling, game loops, and input processing.
- Debug and troubleshoot code to ensure performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and help raise internal coding standards.
- Document development processes and workflows for cross‑functional teams.
- Provide regular status updates and seek feedback from teammates.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of Java and object‑oriented programming.
- Hands‑on experience with libGDX from coursework, personal projects or prototypes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated interest in building games or interactive applications.
- Willingness to complete an AI interview as part of the selection process.
