Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Full Stack Software Engineer to join Xe’s engineering team as we rebuild the platform that powers cross‑border payments for corporate and consumer clients. You will own end‑to‑end features that move money, work across the entire stack, and collaborate closely with product, design and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship full‑stack features that handle onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement and multi‑currency balances.
• Build and maintain customer‑facing interfaces and the backend services that power them.
• Own services in production, including reliability, observability, on‑call rotation and incident response.
• Partner with product, design and compliance teams from problem definition through launch.
• Modernise legacy components by migrating them to the new stack together with architects.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong frontend experience with Vue.js, React or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET; experience with other OOP languages such as Java, Kotlin or Go is a plus.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience deploying to AWS using services like SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS and Lambda.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
