Full Stack Engineer – PHP/Laravel, React, AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a close‑knit product‑led team in Auckland. You will work across backend, frontend and cloud, starting with onboarding tasks and progressing to larger build and migration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Develop responsive frontend features with React and Next.js.
• Operate and optimise AWS‑hosted applications (EC2, S3 and related services).
• Begin with BAU tasks to learn the system, then own larger pieces of work.
• Collaborate in an agile, cross‑functional environment to keep projects moving.

Required profile

• Strong intermediate to senior engineer with a results‑driven attitude.
• Solid commercial experience building web applications.
• Comfortable working end‑to‑end (or backend‑leaning with strong frontend ability).
• Practical production‑level experience with AWS.
• Collaborative, communicative and eager to take ownership.
