About the role
Adaptalift Group is seeking a dedicated Forklift Mechanic / Technician to join its field service team in Christchurch. This permanent, full‑time position involves working on‑site across the Christchurch region, supporting a range of materials handling and access equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Commission and install forklift and related equipment at customer sites.
- Provide training to end‑users on safe and efficient operation.
- Deliver ongoing service, routine maintenance, and breakdown support.
- Perform both field and workshop tasks, including repairs and part replacements.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Required profile
- Experience working with forklift or material‑handling equipment.
- Ability to travel throughout the Christchurch region for on‑site assignments.
- Strong problem‑solving attitude and commitment to safety.
