Financial Crime Investigations Manager

About the role
TSB is looking for a seasoned leader to head its Financial Crime Investigations team. You will guide high‑quality, timely investigations across transaction monitoring, complex financial crime cases, and high‑risk customer activity while shaping the bank’s broader financial crime strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee investigations, due‑diligence reviews and decision‑making processes.
- Ensure accurate, timely, right‑first‑time delivery of investigation outcomes.
- Maintain a strong risk and control environment across the function.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for investigation processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging financial‑crime risks and regulatory changes.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in financial services with extensive exposure to financial‑crime operations.
- Proven ability to make sound risk‑based decisions and take accountability for results.
Required skills
- Strong working knowledge of AML/CFT legislation.
- Expertise in transaction‑monitoring frameworks and sanctions obligations.
- Understanding of financial‑crime typologies.
- Advanced CAMS or KYC‑related certification (preferred).
