Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will provide strategic financial advice, analysis and performance reporting to support informed decision‑making across the organisation. You will work in a flexible, supportive environment that values innovation, wellbeing, diversity and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with directorates and business units to deliver sound financial advice and accounting support.
• Compile, analyse and report financial information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Support planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to drive continuous improvement and enhance commercial outcomes.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and regulatory filings, including GST, FBT and NRWT compliance.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in accounting.
• Working towards or holding Chartered Accountant membership (CA ANZ or international equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Advanced computer literacy, especially with spreadsheets and accounting applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship‑management and analytical skills.

• Excel (advanced spreadsheet skills).

• TechnologyOne (experience preferred).
• GST, FBT and NRWT tax legislation knowledge.
• Accounting standards.
