Experienced Consultant – Global Employer Services Tax

About the role

Join Deloitte's award‑winning Tax team in Auckland as an Experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant within the Global Employer Services (GES) practice. You will work on a variety of client engagements covering global employer and mobility tax issues, helping clients meet compliance obligations and achieve their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service and tax advice across global employer and mobility tax matters.
• Apply current and pending tax legislation to client engagements and provide fact‑based recommendations.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships, influencing senior stakeholders and supporting business growth.
• Assist with corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, transaction support and compliance obligations.
• Improve work efficiency using technology tools and ensure statutory deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Strong technical tax knowledge with experience in corporate, international and mobility tax.
• Ability to build effective business relationships and communicate advice clearly.
• Proactive attitude towards delivering high‑performance results and supporting team growth.
