Event Operations Manager

About the role

Euphoria Group (EMG) is seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of both indoor and outdoor events across New Zealand. This full‑time, fixed‑term role will work closely with the Director and client teams to ensure projects meet budget, timeline and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Directors to oversee assigned projects from concept to execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify shortfalls and report updates to stakeholders.
• Manage task‑lists, milestones and budgets to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Liaise with all event departments (site, technical production, creative, ticketing, marketing, etc.) to improve operational quality and safety.
• Coordinate workforce on‑site during event delivery, including weekend work during peak periods.

Required profile

• Significant experience in live‑event production and operations.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure.
• Availability for key event dates (e.g., Dec 2026‑Feb 2027, Apr 2027).
• Proficiency in creating and managing project documentation and schedules.

What we offer

• Competitive salary $70,000‑$85,000 per year, dependent on experience.
