Engineering Talent Pool – Maintenance & Engineering Professionals

About the role

PERSOL New Zealand is building a talent pool of experienced engineering professionals for upcoming opportunities across manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, logistics and other industrial sectors in Auckland and throughout New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventative, reactive and fault‑finding maintenance across mechanical and electrical plant.
• Support production lines, equipment upgrades and automation projects.
• Collaborate with engineering supervisors and service teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Participate in shift work, including day, afternoon, night and rotating schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, logistics or similar industrial environments.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Full New Zealand work rights (or valid work visa).

Required skills

• Mechanical trade qualification.
• Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience with PLC, automation or control systems (advantageous).
