Employment Consultant – Vocational Support

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an Employment Consultant to join its Auckland team. You will help clients achieve vocational independence by connecting them with suitable employment opportunities and supporting them throughout the placement process.

Key responsibilities

• Source employment vacancies through face‑to‑face employer visits and online research.
• Prepare clients for job interviews and assist with job applications.
• Identify and resolve barriers to work in partnership with clients.
• Provide ongoing support to clients once they are placed in employment.

Required profile

• Experience delivering career guidance and employment support, preferably with MSD clients.
• Confidence in employer outreach and cold‑calling.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Established employer networks and ability to match clients with work experience and job opportunities.
