Employment Consultant

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an Employment Consultant to join its Auckland team. You will help clients achieve vocational independence by linking them with suitable job opportunities and supporting them throughout the employment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source employment vacancies through face‑to‑face employer visits and online platforms.
• Prepare clients for job interviews and assist with job applications.
• Work with clients to overcome barriers to work and develop problem‑solving strategies.
• Provide ongoing support to clients after they have secured employment.

Required profile

• Experience delivering career guidance and employment support, preferably with MSD clients.
• Confidence in employer outreach and cold‑calling.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management abilities.
• Established network of employers and ability to connect clients with work experience and job opportunities.
