Email & Lifecycle Marketer

About the role

We are looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketer to drive client acquisition, engagement, retention and reactivation through strategic email and marketing automation campaigns. The role reports to the Global Marketing Manager and works from our Albany office in Auckland.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and launch email campaigns across the customer lifecycle to acquire, engage and reactivate clients.
• Design and manage automated lifecycle journeys such as welcome, onboarding, nurture, reactivation and win‑back.
• Segment client lists by behavior, demographics, value and lifecycle stage to deliver relevant messaging.
• Write and edit email copy, including subject lines, body text and calls‑to‑action, ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with design, product and operations teams to ensure emails are visually appealing and accurate.
• Set up, test and deploy campaigns on the email platform, performing QA on links, tracking and rendering.
• Monitor performance metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes) and report insights.
• Conduct simple A/B tests on subject lines, send times and content variants and apply learnings.
• Maintain clean, compliant email lists in line with data‑privacy and anti‑spam regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in email or lifecycle/CRM marketing.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into actions.
• Excellent English copywriting skills; Chinese is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with a major email service provider (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
• Proficiency with a marketing automation platform.
