Electrical Tester

About the role

Temperzone is seeking an Electrical Tester to join its manufacturing team in Melville, Waikato. The role involves performing electrical tests on equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with engineers and production staff to diagnose issues and verify system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non‑routine electrical testing on production equipment.
• Verify that all electrical systems meet regulatory and company safety standards.
• Document test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to quality assurance.
• Maintain and calibrate testing instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical or trades qualification.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
