Early Careers Manager

About the role

KPMG New Zealand is seeking an Early Careers Manager to lead its graduate, intern and junior hire recruitment programmes. Based in Auckland and reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be the primary link between KPMG and emerging talent across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of early‑career recruitment, from attraction through selection and onboarding.
• Plan and execute university open days, career expos, office tours and networking events.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to design engaging onboarding and induction experiences.
• Use market insights, data and trends to shape budgeting, tertiary engagement and student club sponsorships.
• Collaborate with Brand colleagues on employer‑branding campaigns and content.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, student groups and external industry contacts.
• Act as a visible ambassador for KPMG, ensuring a positive, inclusive candidate experience.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment systems and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering early‑career recruitment programmes.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
• Confidence presenting and engaging with groups at career expos and similar events.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
