Drive Thru Team Member (Full‑time, 36 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Drive Thru Team Member to join our busy Drive Thru area at Mitre 10 Mega Whanganui. Working 36 hours per week, including weekends, you will help customers receive their building supplies quickly and safely while keeping the work environment tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist Drive Thru and trade customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Support customers in product selection, loading, and answering general enquiries.
• Safely load and unload building materials and bulk items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Drive Thru lane and yard.
• Assist with stock movement and day‑to‑day store operations.
• Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and teammates.

Required profile

• Good physical fitness and confidence with regular heavy lifting.
• Full NZ driver licence (essential).
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑first attitude.
• Reliability, punctuality and availability to work Saturdays.
• Previous retail, trade or yard experience is an advantage but not required.
