Drainage & Reticulation Site Foreman

About the role

Southroads is looking for a hands‑on Site Foreman to lead drainage and reticulation crews across the Oamaru and Waitaki region. This is a boots‑on‑the‑ground position where you will manage daily site activities, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high‑quality civil construction work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crews on drainage and reticulation projects.
• Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep work progressing smoothly.
• Participate in after‑hours call‑out roster as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in drainage and reticulation work.
• Previous leadership or foreman experience in a construction environment.
• Strong communication and team‑management abilities.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and reliable project delivery.
• Willingness to join an after‑hours call‑out roster and pass a pre‑employment drug test.
