Dispatch Assistant

About the role

CHEP is looking for a motivated Dispatch Assistant to join its busy logistics hub in Penrose, Auckland. In this on‑site, full‑time position you will support the flow of goods, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate documentation in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise dispatch paperwork for outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and transport partners to schedule pick‑ups.
• Monitor inventory levels and update system records.
• Maintain a clean and safe dispatch area.
• Provide timely communication to internal teams regarding dispatch status.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and external carriers.
• Reliability to work the scheduled shift of 6 am – 2 pm, Monday to Friday.
