Digital Transformation Lead - Digital & Innovation

About the role

Awanui Group is seeking a Digital Transformation Lead to accelerate its digital and innovation agenda. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, the role will turn strategic objectives into actionable plans, coordinate delivery across business and technology teams, and embed lightweight governance to ensure measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of priority digital and data initiatives, translating strategy into clear, practical plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to move use cases from concept to implementation, maintaining focus on business value.
• Shape and maintain the digital roadmap, managing priorities, dependencies, and backlog.
• Establish lightweight governance and delivery guardrails that balance progress with risk management.
• Facilitate cross‑functional alignment and keep delivery momentum strong.
• Support teams in building capability and confidence with new digital tools and ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital transformation, delivery leadership, or programme coordination within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to turn strategy into practical delivery outcomes.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Sound judgement in prioritising work and managing competing demands.
