Solution Architect – Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain

About the role

Datacom is seeking a Solution Architect to join its D365 Finance & Supply Chain ERP practice within the AI Business Solutions team. You will design and deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that modernise finance and supply chain operations for public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, presales workshops and customer consultations to capture business processes and strategic outcomes.
• Define end‑to‑end solution architectures for Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, covering integrations, data, security, reporting and non‑functional requirements.
• Produce solution options, estimates, Statements of Work, proposals and high‑level designs that are commercially sound and technically robust.
• Advise customers on fit‑to‑standard approaches, solution governance, implementation roadmaps and effective use of Microsoft technologies.
• Partner with functional consultants, technical architects, developers and data specialists to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Significant experience designing and delivering Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of core finance and supply chain capabilities such as financial management, procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, asset management or project operations.
• Proven ability to lead discovery, fit‑to‑standard and solution design workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen with experience shaping, scoping and pricing implementation and advisory engagements.
