Developer – Customer Profile & APIs

About the role

Join BNZ’s PixieMob team in Wellington to build and maintain the Customer Profile and Party API services that provide a single, trusted digital view of customer information. This hybrid role offers three days in the office and two flexible days, supporting a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Understand feature requirements and technical problems, delivering solutions in a timely and reliable manner.
• Contribute to production support and on‑call activities to ensure system reliability.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain robust, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Break down moderately complex problems into clear, achievable tasks and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, communicate clearly, and foster a positive team culture.
