Desktop Engineer – End‑User Support & Device Management

About the role

Foster Moore is seeking a proactive Desktop Engineer to join its IT team. You will provide advanced desktop and end‑user support for a global workforce, ensuring technology runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced desktop, laptop, and peripheral support to users worldwide.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices.
• Deploy and manage software and device assets using Intune and Jamf.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on server, storage, and network projects.
• Create documentation and training materials for IT tools and processes.

Required profile

• Experience in desktop support or IT engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Exposure to server management and virtualization environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Windows operating system administration.
• macOS operating system administration.
• Endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf).
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Scripting with PowerShell.
• Server management and virtualization concepts.
