About the role
Foster Moore is seeking a proactive Desktop Engineer to join its IT team. You will provide advanced desktop and end‑user support for a global workforce, ensuring technology runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver advanced desktop, laptop, and peripheral support to users worldwide.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices.
- Deploy and manage software and device assets using Intune and Jamf.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on server, storage, and network projects.
- Create documentation and training materials for IT tools and processes.
Required profile
- Experience in desktop support or IT engineering.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Exposure to server management and virtualization environments is a plus.
Required skills
- Windows operating system administration.
- macOS operating system administration.
- Endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf).
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Scripting with PowerShell.
- Server management and virtualization concepts.
