Demand Planning Coordinator

About the role

This is an entry‑level opportunity within Foodstuffs North Island’s Retail Operations & Transformation team. You will support the Demand Planning Manager and analysts by handling coordination, reporting and planning activities that keep the forecasting process running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations of the Demand Planning team.
• Prepare and maintain planning data, reports and trackers.
• Assist with forecasting inputs, data checks and exception follow‑ups.
• Monitor performance metrics such as days cover and out‑of‑stocks.
• Support SAP Forecasting & Replenishment processes.
• Coordinate reporting cycles and planning cadence activities.
• Act as first point of contact for basic planning queries.
• Collaborate with analysts and respond to store requests.

Required profile

• Organised, curious and eager to build a career in demand planning or retail operations.
• Entry‑level experience in retail, supply chain, planning or analytical support.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn forecasting and inventory concepts.

Required skills

• Excel (advanced).
• Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools (bonus).
• SAP (forecasting & replenishment modules).
