Delivery Driver – Automotive Parts (Christchurch)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and personable Delivery Driver to join our Christchurch team. You will be the friendly face of BNT, delivering automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches while providing exceptional on‑site service.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parts and consumables to scheduled locations.
• Load and unload stock, handling items up to 20 kg and ensuring goods arrive in good condition with correct documentation.
• Follow planned routes and delivery timelines, optimizing efficiency.
• Provide professional, courteous service and represent the company positively during each visit.
• Accurately record customer credit information, product returns and supporting documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts on site.
• Relay market information, customer feedback and competitor activity to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence.
• Physical capability to lift moderate loads (up to 20 kg).
• Professional attitude and strong customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and reasonable typing ability.
