Delivery Agent - Fixed Term

About the role

New Zealand Post is hiring a fixed-term Delivery Agent based in New Lynn, Auckland. As the face of NZ Post in the community, you will connect with customers while delivering their mail and parcels. You will work alongside a dedicated team processing and sorting mail from the New Lynn Delivery Branch, then ride your e-bike along your own delivery route, rain, hail or shine. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 2.32pm, and the contract ends on 15 May 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Process and sort mail at the New Lynn Delivery Branch.
• Deliver mail and parcels to customers on your route using an e-bike.
• Ensure the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Aim for high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7am to 2.32pm.
• Reliable transport.
• Ability to handle a physically demanding role.
• High level of numeracy and literacy to deal with addresses.
• Passion for doing a great job, each time.

All applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointments are subject to a satisfactory drug test and security check. The role pays $27.86 per hour plus allowances.
