Cyber Resilience Manager - Cybersecurity

About the role

Join EY’s growing cyber team in Auckland and help organisations navigate complex threats while building stronger, more resilient operations. As a Cyber Resilience Manager you will lead engagements that assess, prioritize and mitigate cyber risks, delivering practical outcomes that enhance clients’ cyber maturity and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber risk assessments, maturity reviews and threat‑modelling exercises.
• Manage project delivery, budgets and client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and support business‑development activities.
• Develop clear recommendations, roadmaps and action plans to improve cyber maturity and resilience.
• Assess controls and resilience using frameworks such as NIST CSF, NZISM and ISO 27001.
• Support resilience initiatives including incident‑response readiness, recovery planning and crisis preparedness.
• Create high‑quality client deliverables – assessment reports, executive summaries, workshop materials and remediation plans.
• Translate technical cyber issues into business‑risk insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security, technology risk, cyber resilience, IT audit or security advisory.
• Strong working knowledge of recognised cyber frameworks and standards.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements and mentor junior staff.
