Customer Service & Warehouse Associate

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused, hands‑on team player to join our Naenae branch. This varied position blends customer service, sales support and warehouse operations, allowing you to become the product expert for watermain, wastewater and gas pressure system customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers through product knowledge, advice and reliable service.
• Manage customer orders end‑to‑end using the M3 ERP system.
• Oversee inbound goods – checking, receipting and storing stock accurately.
• Pick, pack and despatch orders with correct documentation.
• Handle day‑to‑day administration such as invoicing, credits, quotes and inventory records.
• Maintain stock levels, participate in stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Operate a forklift safely to move products around the site.
• Keep the branch and yard clean, tidy and well presented.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for delivering great customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay accurate under pressure.
• Full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence with forklift endorsement (essential).
• Reasonable physical fitness for occasional heavy lifting.
• Willingness to be available for occasional after‑hours call‑outs.
