Customer Experience Representative

About the role

Join LIC’s award‑winning Customer Experience team and become a trusted expert for New Zealand dairy farmers. In this full‑time, office‑based position you will help customers navigate complex enquiries across LIC’s products, services and industry‑leading software, delivering clear, practical solutions every day.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve customer problems quickly and accurately, translating technical information into easy‑to‑understand language.
• Assist customers in getting the most value from LIC’s tools, software and diagnostics.
• Handle complex, multi‑step enquiries while maintaining high service standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior customer‑facing role such as retail, hospitality or customer‑service supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations, balance competing priorities and deliver outstanding service.
• Enjoy solving problems, learning new systems and receiving coaching for growth.
• Resilient, adaptable and calm under pressure.
• Strong technical aptitude and confidence in learning multiple systems.
• Empathetic communicator who can explain technical details clearly.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences and contributing to a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Starting salary of $64,000 NZD with progression based on skill development.
• Permanent, full‑time role (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm) with no weekend work.
