Customer Champion - Billing & Payments

As a Customer Champion you will provide specialist advice on water and wastewater billing and may support other retail functions such as payments, collections, new connections and fault handling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, friendly assistance on all aspects of water and wastewater billing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple contact channels.
• Support additional retail areas (payments/collections, new connections, faults) as business needs arise.
• Maintain high standards of speed and accuracy while handling a high‑volume workload.

Required profile

• Customer‑centric communicator comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technically savvy with a strong problem‑solving mindset.
• Proven experience in a high‑volume, multi‑channel contact centre.
• Background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
• Excellent written and oral communication with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to multitask, meet expectations quickly and analyse problems logically.
