Corporate Business Development Manager

About the role

Based in Hamilton, the Corporate Business Development Manager will drive new‑business growth for FleetPartners across the Waikato to Wellington region. This pure‑hunter position focuses on acquiring organisations that have yet to experience the benefits of fleet leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and competitor analysis.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability.
• Develop and own a prospecting call cycle to secure opportunities.
• Track and report on activities, pipeline status and performance metrics in Salesforce.
• Present quarterly sales performance, business plans and budget outcomes.
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote FleetPartners.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales success with a strong track record of customer acquisition.
• Self‑starter with a hunter mentality, comfortable engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Commercially minded, motivated to make a measurable impact in a high‑growth market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
