About the role
The Commercial Accountant will own New Zealand commercial accounting, delivering insight and supporting business growth. Working in a hybrid model from Auckland CBD, the role partners with senior leaders to improve performance, controls and decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Own NZ commercial accounting and drive real business impact.
- Partner with leaders to deliver performance insight and support growth initiatives.
- Collaborate across the business to improve performance, controls and decision processes.
- Lead finance process improvement initiatives for commercial insight.
Required profile
- Proven experience in commercial accounting within New Zealand.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance finance processes and controls.
