Cloud Engineer – Early Career/Intermediate

About the role

Join Trimble’s cloud services team to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud services that support global licensing, firmware deployment and product provisioning for a wide range of field devices. You will work with engineering teams worldwide and gain exposure to large‑scale cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud‑based services for Trimble’s global licensing and deployment ecosystem.
• Contribute across the full stack, including user interfaces, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Support software, firmware, and configuration updates for hundreds of thousands of field devices worldwide.
• Optimize AWS‑hosted databases and backend services while ensuring security and reliability.
• Champion CI/CD practices to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or cloud engineering.
• Commercial development experience using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and modern CI/CD practices.
