Clinical Nurse Manager

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will work alongside the Village Manager to lead the clinical team in a well‑established aged‑care home in Cromwell. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, resident‑centred care while fostering a supportive culture for both residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a dedicated clinical nursing team.
• Ensure high standards of resident‑centred care and compliance with aged‑care regulations.
• Oversee clinical governance, documentation, auditing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach nursing staff and promote professional development.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promote a positive team culture based on compassion, respect and excellence.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Registered Nurse with a valid APC.
• Previous leadership experience as a Unit Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator, Senior RN or similar role in aged‑care.
• Strong knowledge of aged‑care standards, audits and clinical governance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people to live well.
