Clinical Lead – Musculoskeletal Services

About the role
Habit Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership for its Musculoskeletal (MSK) services across the Hawkes Bay and Gisborne regions. This full‑time (or part‑time for the right candidate) position is based in Hawkes Bay and involves both direct client care and mentorship of a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with regional and national clinical leaders to enhance Habit Health’s MSK service offering.
- Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and other allied health professionals.
- Maintain a personal clinical caseload, delivering high‑quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries.
- Promote evidence‑based practice and ensure services meet the highest professional standards.
- Support clinical excellence through case reviews, peer mentoring, professional development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, referrers, ACC, employers and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to service innovation that improves client outcomes and operational performance.
Required profile
- Physiotherapy degree with a postgraduate qualification in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and current APC registration.
- Minimum five years of clinical experience, with leadership exposure highly valued.
- Experience in private practice, rehabilitation, ACC, vocational rehabilitation or community‑based MSK services.
- Full driver’s licence for travel between regions.
- Passion for delivering exceptional musculoskeletal rehabilitation outcomes.
