Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leader

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the Founder and CEO of Aroa Biosurgery, a global soft‑tissue regeneration company listed on the ASX. This senior executive will partner with the CEO and Board to provide strategic financial leadership, investor relations, and commercial support as the business scales internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group‑wide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Own investor relations and capital‑markets communications, including ASX disclosures and the annual roadshow.
• Provide commercial decision‑making support, modelling new markets, partners and commercial initiatives.
• Partner with the incoming CCO and GM Commercial Ops to align finance with commercial strategy.
• Drive financial due diligence, integration and post‑deal analysis for M&A and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain strong governance in collaboration with Audit & Risk and Remuneration committees.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team with clear leadership structure.

Required profile

• Current CFO or experienced Deputy/Divisional CFO in a large, complex organisation.
• Proven experience leading finance in a global, high‑growth, listed company; ASX exposure highly regarded.
• Significant exposure to the US market and its cultural dimensions.
• Strong capital‑markets, investor‑relations and Board reporting background.
• Experience in MedTech, life‑sciences or healthcare is a plus.
• Commercial, data‑driven mindset combined with genuine people‑leadership skills.
