Casual Sales Assistant (Retail)

About the role
We are looking for a bright, bubbly and customer‑oriented individual to join our Smiggle store in Lower Hutt on a casual basis. You will be the friendly face that creates unique connections with shoppers of all ages, helping them discover our colourful, fun products.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.
- Assist customers in selecting products, answer queries and promote sales.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Keep shelves, displays and stockroom organised and replenished.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, energetic and enjoys working in a fun team environment.
- Previous retail or customer‑service experience.
- Passion for Smiggle’s colourful product range.
- Strong communication skills and a smile that engages customers.
