About the role

Join Oceania as a casual Registered Nurse at Elmwood in Manurewa, delivering full‑scope nursing care within a nurse‑led aged‑care service. You will provide comprehensive clinical support, coordinate daily resident needs, and build strong relationships with residents and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care needs of residents while inspiring and supporting the care team.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions independently and collaboratively.
• Make critical decisions regarding resident care, demonstrating professional autonomy.
• Develop and maintain connections with residents, families, and allied health professionals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to care staff and team members.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Previous experience using clinical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
• Ability to coach and mentor other staff.
• Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis, including weekends and nights.

Required skills

• InterRai (desirable but not essential).
• Proficiency with clinical systems.
