Cafe Team Member – Part Time

About the role

Join the Ocean Spa café team and help create a welcoming environment for visitors. You will prepare high‑quality food and specialty coffee, deliver friendly service, and support daily operations in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑focused setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including specialty coffee, with consistent presentation.
• Provide outstanding customer service to create a warm café experience.
• Support daily operations such as stock control, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and quality standards at all times.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement of offerings.
• Step into supervisory or duty‑manager duties when required.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality experience with confidence in food preparation and service.
• Barista training and a genuine passion for quality coffee.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Understanding of food safety practices, with certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Reliable, flexible and available for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Proactive team player with energy and a positive attitude.
