About the role
We are looking for a proactive, hands‑on Maintenance Manager to join Scenic Hotel Te Pania. In this role you will lead by example, staying on the tools while ensuring the hotel remains in top condition for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the on‑site maintenance team.
- Perform a variety of hands‑on tasks including painting, repairs and general upkeep.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate hotel improvement projects and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety and building regulations.
Required profile
- Proactive and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work on the tools and lead by example.
- Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role, preferably within hospitality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
