About the role

Join The Warehouse Group’s Noel Leeming division as the lead buyer for the Computers category. You will own the end‑to‑end buying process, shaping a market‑leading assortment that meets Kiwi customers’ technology needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a competitive product range aligned with customer demand and market trends.
• Monitor emerging technologies and innovations to keep the offer ahead of the curve.
• Build and negotiate with global and local suppliers to secure quality products and optimal value.
• Execute buying strategies that drive profitable growth and support broader business objectives.
• Leverage customer insights, market analysis, and sales data to inform assortment decisions.
• Collaborate with planning, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless range delivery across all channels.
• Travel domestically 3‑4 times per year as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of buying experience, preferably in computers or consumer electronics.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with a commercial mindset.
• Proven negotiation skills delivering value and quality.
• Deep understanding of customer drivers and ability to translate them into successful ranges.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaborative abilities.
• Proactive, decisive, and comfortable working at pace.
